The Lite version of Daemon Tools is a great little freebie for mounting ISO and other images as virtual CD/DVD drives, but the Pro Advanced. Seemed like good software before, useful for burning stuff to a CD, looked legitimate and you'd think if they're asking for money for their various products they wouldn't resort to this kind of horrible thing and completely destroy their brand, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Note: This review addresses v of the software. This issue, ridiculously, also affects paying users (although not always as I have gathered). If you go on the forums you will find the developers defending this sh*t!? and just being delusional thinking this is at all acceptable. If you do happen to get infected, make sure you stop the virus from starting with your computer (in my case it was masked under "pximouse" in the startup tab, "ConstantFun" in Program Files and registry, TiltWheelMouse process, Service Mgr ConstantFun service). Those who work with older Windows versions we’ll be able to install and use SPTD. Unfortunately, these things won’t be available for Windows 10 version 1903 users in DAEMON Tools apps. It is very hard to remove and will cause a ton of ads to pop up whenever you are browsing. SPTD is an optional part of DAEMON Tools that enables the emulation of SCSI and IDE virtual drives and allows attaching virtual drives to the physical ones. I have downloaded it from their official website so nobody else is to blame. The software now installs a virus (adware) on your computer as part of the install, even if you make sure to select not to install anything extra when it gives you the option.
